AGM Resolutions – Thursday 28^th July 2011 – O’Neils Sports Lounge – 8.00pm

1. Rule and League Constitution Amendment Proposals

(a) - Lag break in order to decide which team breaks first, as per EPA Guidelines.

(b) - Doubles partners in Doubles matches are allowed to talk together for 60

seconds before the first shot of every team visit.

(c) - Scotch Doubles Rules are to apply for all Doubles Matches and doubles partners

are allowed 60 seconds between each shot to talk to each other.

NB. Proposal ( d ) will only be voted on if proposal ( c ) falls.

(d) - In League Doubles games the rules are to stay the same as currently played but,

in Doubles Cup Competition the Scotch Doubles format is to be applied.

Vote to be taken on the points system –

NB. For proposals (e) to (g) each resolution will only be voted upon if the

preceding resolution fails.

(e) - 1 frame point for each frame won including the doubles and a bonus 2 frame

points is to be awarded for the winning team on the night.

(f) - 1 frame point for each frame won even the Doubles, with no bonus frame points

for the winning team on the night.

(g) - Points per frame stay as existing, i.e. 1 for singles, 2 for doubles but the points

awarded at the end of match is the match score so if a team wins 8 - 4 the that

team get 8 frame points the others get 4. 

NB. Proposals (h) to (j) will only be voted on if one of the proposals (e) to (g)

is passed.

(h) - Remove the 2 point deduction for no show as the scoring system would no longer

be points and they would lose the match 12-0 or 9-0 which ever is accepted.

(i) - The late card rule instead of being 1 point deducted, should change to 5 frames.

(j) - The late card rule instead of being 1 point deducted should change to 3 frames.
